Auto i Care has received more than 22,000 calls during the night from around the country for towing assistance after an accident or car breakdown from November 2020 to date. At the same time, the company found that accidents more than doubled during the day, as nearly 50,000 calls for help were received on the highways.

According to Auto i Care’s records, the company received the most calls from metropolitan areas like Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad, with the Financial Capita of India leading the way with 10,000 cases, followed by the National Capital with 8,000 service requests. In non-metro or semi-urban areas like Noida, Indore, Lucknow Auto i Care received fewer maintenance calls and more because of maintenance-related car breakdowns.
