Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulations, and other techniques to manage patient health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, dizziness, and a long list of other diseases and conditions. They aim to improve the functionality and quality of life of patients by correctly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal system and allowing the body to heal itself naturally without the use of medication or surgery.

A Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) has completed at least 100 hours of postdoc training in special sports medicine topics and must pass an examination before a committee. After attaining the CCSP or DACBSP level, the sports chiropractor stays up to date with the latest research and treatment through further training and field experience. The American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) holds an annual conference to update doctors on the latest research and techniques.

Personally, Dr. Fisher her two children of her own, leading healthy, active lives and giving back, and that giving time is more valuable than just money.
