On Tuesday, the Barnsdall Chamber of Commerce held its second meeting in February, where they discussed upcoming events and received a presentation from Lakeside Chiropractic and Rehab.
The Barnsdall Easter Egg Hunt is fast approaching and is scheduled for March 26th at 10am. The event takes place in Barnsdall City Park and is sponsored by the American Heritage Bank and the Assembly of God Church. The Congregation of the Church of God has collected approximately 1,200 eggs for the Easter egg hunt and plans to increase the number to 1,500. The American Heritage Bank will provide cash prizes that can be found in random eggs. Barnsdall Public Schools are once again helping to fill eggs for the event.
The chamber received a presentation from Dr. Beth Goodman for Lakeside Chiropractic and Rehab at Skiatook on Maintaining Good Spinal Health for the First 100 Years of Your Life. The presentation revolved around preventive maintenance, much like going to the dentist or optician, to avoid more serious problems. Lakeside Chiropractic and Rehab is located at 1529 W. Rogers Blvd in Skiatook.
Chamber President Claud Rosendale also discussed some progress on Big Heart Day and will hold a Big Heart Day planning meeting on Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. at Barnsdall Community Center.
