A truck driver died this morning (Monday May 10th) after an accident involving six vehicles on a busy Berkshire road.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene after the multiple vehicle accident – which involved a truck, tractor unit and four cars – on the A3095 Crowthorne Road in Bracknell.
No one was seriously injured in the incident.
The driver was identified as a 56-year-old man from Thatcham in the west of the county.
The road has been closed to traffic between South Hill Road and Ringmead as police continue investigating the scene.
The Thames Valley Police are appealing to witnesses to the collision.
The accident was first reported shortly before 8 a.m. today.
