Dr. Lynn Pownall and Dr. Tamsin Pope of the Brookside Chiropractic Center in Brooklyn Square greet Dr. Zachary Kiendl on her team.
Kiendl is a 2009 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2013 graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Kiendl attended D’Youville College in Buffalo, where he earned his doctorate in chiropractic in 2019. While studying at D’Youville College, Kiendl was an active member of the Student American Chiropractic Association, most recently as Chapter President before graduation. As a student, Kiendl had the privilege of completing rotations at the University of Buffalo Neurosurgery Clinic and Erie County Medical Center.
“The experience and training I received through these clinics while transitioning has enabled me to gain valuable insight into the management and treatment of different populations.” Said Kiendl. “I look forward to using this knowledge and education to serve the people of Chautauqua County and the surrounding area.”
Kiendl, the son of Mary Ann and Mark Kiendl and grandson of Carolyn Thomas from Jamestown, looks forward to giving back to the community that has grown him.
A recent study by Yale University found that patients seeking chiropractic care for back pain were 49% less likely to use opioids and other prescription pain relievers to manage pain. Chiropractors manage and diagnose conditions related to the neuromusculoskeletal and nervous systems using the latest evidence-based treatment techniques to achieve beneficial outcomes such as pain reduction and increased mobility.
