After winning big, Exurt and Emerald Coast Chiropractic will qualify for the Lower Division Coed Softball Championship at the Morgan Sports Center.
Exurt beat Crackings by 22-15 and went undefeated in the doubles elimination tournament. Emerald Coast Chiropractic fought their way back from the losing class with a 20-8 win over Philip Cryar Marine and a 21-12 win over Crackings.
Exurt and Emerald Coast will play at 6:30 p.m. on December 16. If Exurt wins, they are the champions. If Emerald Coast wins, teams will play again at 8 p.m. to determine the champion.
In the Exurt win over Crackings, the first innings were close with a 6-6 tie at the end of two. Over the next two innings, however, Crackings began to take a 13-10 lead with one run in the third and six in the fourth.

In fifth place, Exurt collected the bats and scored seven runs and in sixth five more. Crackings scored two final runs at the end of the sixth.

CI Hixson-Wells led the Exurt attack with a home run, two doubles and one singles for two RBIs. Justin Abdo joined for two doubles and two singles for three RBIs, and Jenn Joyner hit two singles.
Steven Caballero knocked out two doubles and one singles in five runs for crackings. Mike Ingram joined two triples for an RBI and Jolie Kremser met two singles.
Emerald Coast defeated Philip Cryar in Wednesday’s early game 20-8.
Emerald Coast was a bit slow at the start and fell back 5-0 in the first. In the second inning, Emerald Coast prevailed 6-6 and prevailed with three in the third and seven in the fourth with 16: 7.
Philip Cryar scored a goal in fifth place. Emerald Coast responded with four runs for a 12-run decision on the game.

Shawn Wood tapped in six runs for Emerald Coast on two home runs and one doubles. Matt Herberman tripled, doubled and singled for four RBIs, Todd Preston tore three doubles and one singles for two RBIs, and Erin Hartsel joined for two singles for one RBI.
Mitch Levine led Philip Cryar with a homer and two singles for two RBIs. Mike McGrath doubled and tripled and Danielle Sheridan doubled and singled for an RBI.
In the final game of the night, Emerald Coast beat Chiropractic Crackings 21-12.
Emerald Coast took a 14-6 lead in the first three innings. They took one run in the fourth and fifth innings before making another big blast in the sixth with five runs.
Matt Herberman led Emerald Coast with one doubles and four singles for three RBIs. Don Edwards hit three singles for four RBIs, and Tabitha Gaydos doubled up and hit two singles for one RBI.
Ethan Randolph cracked a triple, two doubles and a single for two RBIs for cracking. Megan Irby hit two singles and Blaine Watkins buckled a triple and a single for three RBIs.
