River Park is getting a new type of tenant next month.
The Joint Chiropractic will occupy a space previously occupied by BrowShapes between Rubio’s and GNC. The 931 square meter medical office is undergoing a tenant upgrade and is scheduled to open on August 14th.
The Joint Chiropractic is a chiropractic franchise with headquarters in Arizona and medical offices across the country. The Joint offers its customers a membership – similar to a gym – that does not take out any insurance. Franchise locations are usually located in malls like River Park.
Franchisee Dr. Daniel Rae moves from Phoenix to open clinics in the Central Valley.
He said membership is $ 79 a month and includes four visits a month. The goal of the franchise is to offer care at the best price. The clinics are located in shopping malls, usually for patient convenience.
“Most people don’t get treatment because it gets so expensive,” said Rae.
The joint sees patients only for adjustment, not for acute care that requires further medical examinations.
Rae said patients would be outside in about five minutes, especially after being seen regularly.
The clinic will employ two to three wellness coordinators at the front desk and three to four chiropractors from the Central Valley.
His goal is to open 12 clinics. He has a license pending in Visalia. Clovis also has a pending license that Rae does not own.
“This is a very hard working community, and there aren’t many locations in common … Fresno was like a kind of capital city to build on,” said Rae.
