ADHD doesn’t just exist in the brain. Like other mental disorders, ADHD affects (and does) the whole person. Stress levels, physical health, lifestyle, self-esteem, relationships, and the environment are important to consider when formulating and adjusting ADHD treatment. Many patients find it helpful to combine integrative or holistic strategies with conventional psychiatric treatments to promote physical and emotional well-being in ADHD.
In this presentation you will learn more about the benefits of integrative treatments such as: B. Change in lifestyle and diet, nutritional supplements, acupuncture or a consultation with a holistic clinician. We’ll also explore how the “neurodiversity perspective” – mindfulness, self-compassion, and positive psychology – can reduce the stigma associated with ADHD and comorbid disorders and promote acceptance and resilience.
In this webinar you will learn:
- The holistic framework for mental health
- Basic Wellness Strategies For ADHD
- The Value of Mindful Awareness, Self-Acceptance, and Compassion in ADHD Care
- How diverse approaches of integrative medicine can be combined with conventional ADHD care
- How to use a step-by-step and collaborative approach to implementing a multi-component treatment
