New Delhi | Jagran Health Desk: The COVID-19 pandemic has made us all care about health and fitness, and what better way to do that than yoga. Many people have suffered both mentally and physically during these uncertain times, whether due to developing a coronavirus or being locked in their homes. Switching to wellness on a daily basis and practicing yoga and pranayam on a daily basis can not only benefit your physical fitness, but also keep you mentally calm and stress-free.

To talk more about yoga and wellness in detail, Jagran New Media Editor-in-Chief Urvashi Kapoor and Senior Editor Sanyukta Baijal had an extensive discussion with Ruchi Phool, an expert in yoga and holistic lifestyle at HolisticAikya, and Ruchika Saluja, a yoga trainer at Yog Aarambh .

Q. Why is yoga important?

ON. Ruchi said, “Yoga says how to live in the environment with ease. Your whole life impresses your existence and yoga teaches you to stay happy and healthy. Yoga teaches us the following things:

This is how you live the holistic lifestyle
That is the meaning of our existence
That we work in harmony and live a peaceful life
This is how we want our health to be

Question: How do you feel about fitness and wellness during the new normal amid the COVID-19 pandemic?

ON. Ruchika said: “Lockdown was actually the trigger for each of us. We realized we were on the wrong track and it was high time to get back on track. We were busy with the competition and thought this was a normal way. ” Natural shut us up and said, “Wait, it’s not normal.” After the pandemic, yoga students are more focused on building immunity, healthy eating, and mental strength.
