He stated that he wanted to become a professional soccer player and if that didn’t happen he would become a physical therapist to work with athletes.

The chiropractor smiled and asked him if he had ever considered becoming a chiropractor. Dr. Compas replied no because he didn’t know anything about chiropractic. The chiropractor then explained to him that chiropractors are spine doctors who specialize in musculoskeletal injuries and many other conditions. He knew right away that he wanted to become a chiropractor if the NFL didn’t knock on his door.

From there, Dr. Compas the Ball State University, where he participated in two sports as a scholar and athlete. During his career with Ball State, he won the Mid-American Conference Championship and played at the Las Vegas Bowl. After graduating in Exercise Science and Wellness, he earned a PhD in Chiropractic (DC) from New York Chiropractic College.

He has extensive specialist knowledge of the doctor and is a certified provider of techniques for active release technology and a certified decompression therapist. He is also certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) and remains a member of the American Association of Sensory Electro-Diagnostic Medicine, the International Chiropractic Association, and the New York State Chiropractic Association.
