The Medfield Foundation announced that Medfield’s Holistic Wellness Center LLC is the first civic founder of the Medfield Foundation’s Legacy Fund.
The Holistic Wellness Center is owned and operated by Darrah March O’Connor and Sarah Schochet Henken. HWC is an independent wellness center that offers the best of holistic healing treatments including (but not limited to) acupuncture, massage therapy, reflexology, and energy work. HWC has been in operation since 2010.
In addition, HWC offers the best of holistic, metaphysical and fair trade goods selected from around the world. In the past, HWC has offered many related workshops to be resumed when appropriate and safe.
The holistic wellness center is located in the Medfield Crossing Shopping Plaza on Route 27.
The Medfield Foundation Legacy Fund is a Medfield Foundation endowment fund that is seeking an initial budget of $ 1 million to support community and community initiatives in the city.
By supporting these initiatives now and in the future, the Legacy Fund aims to ensure that in the future Medfield can do more of the special things that make Medfield the great community it has been for so many people and their families, and provide financial resiliency to meet the future needs of the community. The foundation is raised by “founders” who pledge to contribute at least $ 5,000 over a period of five years.
Henken said, “We are very excited to be working with the Medfield Foundation to help Medfield through the Legacy Fund, and we hope other companies will consider participating. HWC is honored to be the first civic founder. ”
The Civic Founders are companies that make a contribution at the founder level.
