At around 2:57 p.m. on Saturday, Niagara Falls Police and Niagara Falls Fire Department responded to a motorcycle accident in front of Delta Sonic at 7920 Niagara Falls Blvd.

According to the Office of Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restaino: A 23-year-old Niagara Falls man riding a Victory motorcycle was traveling west in the fast lane on Niagara Falls Boulevard when he was hit by a vehicle that was the Delta Sonic details left stations. The Dodge Journey, conducted by a woman from Niagara Falls, attempted to turn onto Niagara Falls Boulevard with her left hand.

The rider of the motorcycle was ejected and projected into traffic heading east where he was hit by GMC compound and pinned below.

Spectators were able to raise the car with a jack and attach a tourniquet to the motorcyclist’s leg. They stayed with him until medical personnel arrived to take care of him.

The motorcyclist was transported to the ECMC where he was operated on. His condition has been reported as unknown.

The Dodge driver and her passenger were taken to the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for examination but appeared to have no serious injuries. The driver and passenger at the GMC reported no injuries.

There were several witnesses to the crash. The Niagara Falls Police Department Crash Management is still investigating and the charges are pending.
