(MENAFN) Local authorities announced that two people were killed and two others injured in a car crash in the northeastern Nigerian state of Bauchi on Friday, June 4.
Yusuf Abdullahi, a federal traffic security corps commander, said in a report that a car collided with an approaching truck in the village of Zangoro along the Bauchi-Maiduguri road, killing two people at the scene.
Abdullahi found that the two wounded were immediately taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
He said probes showed dangerous driving as the cause of the accident.
