The Department of Social Development and Seniors will host an online panel discussion today on Holistic Wellbeing.
Tinee Furbert, the minister for the elderly, said the government had received requests for information on the matter from families and carers.
She said, “In response, we invited professionals to discuss the importance of maintaining your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
“The aim is to empower family carers, caregivers, and the general public to improve the quality of life for those in our community who need assistance in living with cognitive changes.
The minister said she was “pleased” to be joining a group of experts to discuss the importance of holistic health and well-being of the population.
Participants include Ayesha Peets-Talbot, a doctor specializing in internal and functional medicine, Scott Smith, personal trainer and lecturer at Bermuda College, and Salintae Tuzo, counselor and life coach.
The webinar starts at 5:00 p.m. and can be accessed on Facebook, YouTube, CITV and Bernews.
