SIOUX CITY – The Siouxland Holistic Health & Wellness Fair has something for everyone, says Debbie Bernstein LaCroix, one of the organizers of the event.
“We will protect you from the mind, body and soul,” said LaCroix of the show, which will be held on May 16, 10 am to 5 pm at the Siouxland Expo Center, 550 S. Lafayette.
The fair is an offshoot of the Siouxland Holistic Health Expo, which was hosted by massage therapist Drew Moss every January for six years.
After Moss moved to Texas, LaCroix, in collaboration with Erin Kuehl of Evolve Yoga & Wellness, took over the reins to expand the scope of the event.
“Yoga is the perfect complement to the holistic trade fair,” said Kuehl. “It gives you the tools to regain or maintain your health and wellbeing, be it physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.”

“When people think of health, they only think of physical health,” said LaCroix. “How you feel emotionally can be just as important.”
Kuehl said the 80,000 square feet available at the Siouxland Expo Center is ideal when it comes to social distancing.
LaCroix said the setting is ideal for the nearly 40 vendors expected to attend.
“It almost became a festival,” she said. “There are unlimited possibilities (in the Expo Center) and we want to use everything.”
