Scott Rosner, one of 25 certified chiropractic sports physicians in Massachusetts, announced the opening of a new clinic, the Weymouth Chiropractic and Wellness Center, at 1221 Main St., Suite 302, on April 1st.

Rosner established his practice as a community resource for health education, spine and joint health, and the treatment of sports injuries. Weymouth Chiropractic and Wellness Center offers chiropractic care, nutrition, exercise and lifestyle changes, and offers specialized treatment to relieve pain and restore freedom of movement.

“I want all of my patients to be active and pain-free, so we’re working together to make this happen,” said Rosner.

Chiropractic is concerned with musculoskeletal injuries and the loss of normal movement of muscles and joints.

“I’m working to fix these problems, but it’s not just about neck and back pain, we’re also taking care of the hands and feet, the temporomandibular joint, headaches and nerve problems,” said Rosner. “Sports injuries also respond very well to advanced chiropractic treatments.”

Rosner, known by his patients as “Dr. Scott holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician by the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians, has a PhD in Chiropractic, and is SafeSport Certified.

In addition to his chiropractic practice in Weymouth, Rosner is currently Medical Director of the Boston 13s Rugby Team and has previously worked with the LPGA Tour, USA Gymnastics, Ringling Brothers Circus, Beyoncé’s World Tour and Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour. He has received certifications in kinesio taping, myofascial release, functional and kinetic treatment with rehab technique, advanced certifications in soccer medicine and concussion management for doctors.
