DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – While the pandemic has subsided with enrollment at many higher education institutions, the Palmer College of Chiropractic may be one of the exceptions. The college says enrollment on the main Davenport campus for the 2021 Spring Class, which began March 9, has reached its highest level in eight years.
The Port Orange, Florida campus is expecting its largest spring semester enrollment since it opened in 2002. Palmer West in San Jose, California is on track for its largest spring enrollment in 10 years.
“Compared to the last two years, the number of applications increased by 30 percent in the 2021 financial year,” said Dr. Michael Norris, Vice Chancellor for Approvals.
There are currently more than 2,100 students enrolled in the college’s three locations, including more than 900 in Davenport.
