Garner said he had lung injuries, rib injuries and a shoulder injury in the accident.
“I’m really nervous [my] Left [hand side] but I survived because I had my helmet on, “he said.
Richardson considered that he had warned Garner not to ride a scooter to work.
“You were right again,” Garner admitted. “Yeah, you said, ‘At 46, what a fool [you are] If you do, you should just get in a car and be normal. ‘”
When asked what happens to the scooter now, Garner said, “It will be fixed,” but he warns others to be careful with them.
“God, I was in pain, it was scary, it was really scary. For people on scooters – be careful. For those mothers and fathers who have kids – put them in the right gear.”
