The unlawful death process at the TIGER Woods restaurant was again postponed until later this year after the golfer was involved in a serious car accident.
Tiger, his girlfriend Erica Herman and Florida-based restaurant The Woods Jupiter were accused in May 2019 of “serving too much alcohol to a young man they knew had an alcoholism disease.”

Nicholas Immesberger, who worked as a bartender at The Woods Jupiter, crashed his car and died in December 2018 after leaving the restaurant.
In court files obtained solely from The Sun, the trial was postponed to September 13, 2021 through October 8, 2021.
Both parties requested that the trial be postponed because the wife of one of the experts had passed away so he could not be dismissed within the deadline, which means he could give his testimony.
This is the second time the process has been pushed back.

The trial was originally scheduled to run between March 1, 2021 and March 26, 2021.
It was then postponed to May 24, 2021 through June 18, 2021.
Tiger, 45, Erica, the restaurant’s manager, and The Woods Jupiter were initially sued for wrongful death.

The complaint read: “The Woods employees, management and owners not only ignored Immesberger’s disease, they fueled it by over-serving him alcohol to the point of severe poisoning and then sending him to his car, to go home. “
The file alleged that Erica, 37, “knew, recruited and was aware of Immesberger’s habitual alcohol abuse personally.”
The complaint alleged that “Immesberger was served so much alcohol by The Woods staff and managers after his shift” that he had blood alcohol three times over the legal limit.
Nicholas lost control of his Corvette and suffered fatal injuries.

The filing went on to say that the restaurant’s staff and management “not only encouraged the drinking of alcohol by its employees, but also allowed employees to drink while on and off the job at The Woods”.
The golfer, his girlfriend and the restaurant denied any wrongdoing, claiming that Nicholas “did not wear an available and working seat belt.”
As previously reported by The Sun, Nicholas’ parents, who are the plaintiffs, submitted their witness lists and evidence for the impending trial.
Nicholas’ estate included The Woods Jupiter and Erica as court witnesses, along with the deceased’s family members, staff, and others.

Tiger was not listed as a witness.
Plaintiffs are also demanding that Erica’s deposit, which is a testimonial dated November 14, 2019, be used in the trial.
The Sun previously reported that Nicholas’ estate had asked Erica to hand over her cell phone.
Erica was originally asked to hold on to the phone she was using when Nicholas was an employee during the November 2019 court testimony.

Attorneys for Nicholas’ estate asked the court to agree to Erica’s request to leave her phone, even though the court has not made a decision on the request.
A site inspection of The Woods Jupiter took place on January 6, 2021, The Sun reported.
The father of two said of the accident during a press conference in 2019: “Well, we are all very sad that Nick has died.
“It was a terrible night, a terrible end. We feel bad for him and his whole family. It’s very sad.”

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who investigated the crash, called the incident “an accident,” as he said there was no evidence that the golfer was affected.
The crash happened just four years after Tiger was arrested for a DUI in Florida.
He accepted a plea deal and was given parole.
