TWO men were hospitalized after a car crashed into a wall in Dunfermline last night.

A man had to be freed from the vehicle by firefighters after the emergency services were on site at David Henderson Court around 10:20 p.m.

The other occupant of the car was taken to paramedics who got off before firefighters arrived.

A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were briefed on Wednesday March 3rd at 10:27 pm of reports of a road collision with a vehicle at David Henderson Court in Dunfermline.

“Operations Control mobilized two fire extinguishers and firefighters pulled a person out of the vehicle and handed him over to the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“A second victim had already left the vehicle before the fire fighters arrived and was also transferred to the care of paramedics.

“The crews left the scene after making sure the area was made safe.”

A Police Scotland spokesman added: “Officials were present on Mill Street in Dunfermline at 10:20 pm after reports of an accident involving a car and a wall.

“Two men have been taken to the hospital and the investigation is ongoing.”
