Two teenage women were rushed to Mosaic Life Care in an ambulance Wednesday night after a two vehicle accident on North 17th and Jules Streets.

The two women who were the driver and passenger of a Chevrolet Sonic appeared to have minor or moderate injuries, St. Joseph police said.

They were driving through an intersection on 17th Street when the car with three men crashed into a Ford pickup, police said. The vehicles turned on opposite sides of Jules Street. The sonic crashed into a retaining wall in The Pentecostals of St. Joseph. The truck rolled over a fire hydrant and then hit the porch and the wall of the house.

Vehicle speed may have been a factor, but quotes have yet to be made, police said.
